In January of 2023, I started paying attention to all of the products I was using on the regular. I started this after I decided to no longer go in the self tan spray booth and then moved into my home. There were chemicals everywhere! Household cleaners, candles, soaps and yes, even my skincare. I was praying for a solution and one by one I would find one for natural cleaners and then I found the holy grail....Tallow.
It was weird to me at first. Beef fat for my candles and my skincare? After doing research and finding out that our ancient ancestors believed in utilizing every part of these beautiful creatures, I knew I had to give it a go.
I picked up my first batch of pre-made tallow from a local grass-fed shop and was hooked on how it made my skin feel. Shortly after, I found myself sourcing Wisconsin Grass-fed, grass finished leaf fat that I could render down myself to give you the purest finished product that makes your skin do a little happy dance every time you apply it.
